More Information

In 2005, IndyGo announced plans to revamp its system over the next 15 years. Through its Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA), services such as improved frequencies, crosstown routes, and regional express bus service were identified as valuable enhancements. The COA is a part of the Metropolitan Planning Organization’s Regional Rapid Transit study.

This service has been made possible by a federal grant from the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Program, a program designed to improve our nation’s air quality standards!

So, the grant is funding this three year demonstration route, with local support from the City of Carmel. The success of the project will be measured by the people who ride – people like you!
